Guitar Sessions 54: Play an easy alternate tuning arrangement of “Little Drummer Boy”

In this episode of Guitar Sessions, learn how to play the classic Christmas carol “Little Drummer Boy” two ways: in double-dropped-D tuning and with a partial capo.

Both versions sound great and are very easy to play, even incorporating the full melody on guitar—the open strings do most of the work!

In the video, I go through the basics of the guitar part in double dropped D, play the full song with vocals (at 10:20), and show how it works with a partial capo. As with all the episodes in this series, you can find a lyric/chord chart and guitar tab on Patreon.
