COMING IN JANUARY 2008...
The Words and Music Songwriter Showcase is a celebration of original
music from Central New York and beyond, featuring established and emerging
artists of all genres in an up-close-and-personal acoustic setting.
Host Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers is a singer-songwriter and guitarist, a
contributor to NPR’s All Things Considered, author of the books
Rock Troubadours and The Complete Singer-Songwriter, and founding
editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine.

> Original music by Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers.
> The Song Schmooze, where musicians and music lovers mingle over a
drink and a bite to eat.
> Plus special guests…surprise collaborations…and the Soundbite of the
Night, where Rodgers shares a memorable moment from his extraordinary
archive of interviews with artists such as Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Jerry
Garcia, Ani DiFranco, and Dave Matthews.

CALLING ALL SONGWRITERS!
Interested in performing at the Words and Music showcase?
Tell me a little about yourself and your music.
In particular...
Briefly describe your original songs and where/how you've
performed them. (And remember that great songs are more important
than great credits.)
Send links to two or three songs I can hear online. Choose tracks that are closest to how you
sound playing solo. Thanks, and please help spread the word
about the series.
