PETE SEEGER
Photos taken at Seeger's home in Beacon, New York, during an interview for
Acoustic Guitar magazine (February 2007 issue).
Pete Seeger with his Bruce A. Taylor 12-string guitar, summer 2006. The iconic five-string banjo, with the handwritten inscription, "This Machine Surrounds Hate and Forces It to Surrender." The original log cabin built by Seeger in the late '40s and early '50s. Overlooking the Hudson, where Seeger's environmental organization sails its famous Clearwater sloop.
