MAGAZINES
As founding editor of
Acoustic Guitar, Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers created the editorial
blueprint, hired contributors and staff, and built the magazine into the
leader in its field. In 1990, Acoustic Guitar won the Maggie Award for Best New
Consumer Magazine from the Western Publications Association; in 2000, his last year as
editor, Acoustic Guitar was a finalist for an Editorial Excellence Award from Folio:,

Over the years Rodgers has also done freelance editing and
proofreading for Macworld, PC World, MacUser, Parenting,
Mix, Electronic Musician, San Francisco Focus, and other publications.
In
September 2006, Rodgers was appointed editor of
Guitar
Teacher
magazine, from the publishers of Acoustic Guitar. He also
currently serves as a contributing editor to Acoustic Guitar.
